A Scientific Comprehension of Body, Mind, and Spirit

To restore health and end the disease, a medication or treatment must address all areas of dysfunction, on all levels of the human body. These 3 levels, when corrected simultaneously, provide the key to disrupting the pathophysiological cycle of illness and ensuring long-lasting health. This is the modern-day, scientific understanding of Body, Mind, & Spirit.

Let’s now take a quick look at each of these 3 levels of the body, and break them down into a scientific viewpoint.

The Body – AKA The Biochemical Level

Much of modern conventional medicine is focused on the physical body – the precise biochemical processes that cause symptoms. This is also the level level is where tangible actions take place and can be witnessed through observation or conventional testing methods. These types of actions and reactions include the mobilization of hormones, chemicals, neurotransmitters, fluids and bodily tissue, and commonly exhibit in various forms of inflammation and all ranges of symptoms.

While this level is of critical importance, it is merely “the biological stage on which the struggle plays out” – the true initiation point of dysfunction and disease runs deeper…

The Mind – AKA The PNEI Level

PNEI stands for Psycho-Neuro-Endocrine-Immunology, and is the more modern understanding of psychoneuroimmunology (PNI); the study of the interaction between psychological processes and the nervous and immune systems of the human body.

Often referred to as Body-Mind medicine, this level is guided by emotions and the interaction between psychological processes and the nervous, endocrinological, and immune systems of the human body. PNEI studies, among other things, the physiological functioning of the neuroimmune system in health and disease; disorders of these systems (autoimmune diseases / hypersensitivities / immune deficiency); and the physical, chemical and physiological characteristics of the PNEI related systems.

PNEI shows us that this mental level is the pathway that carries signals which trigger specific bio-physical actions.  Mounding evidence now exists in this field of study which clearly demonstrates and delineates the precise pathways and processes that lead from thoughts, belief systems, and programs in the mind to biochemical actions and symptoms in the body (through the PNEI hierarchy developed by immunologists). Understanding the role of the PNEI system offers us great insight into medicines most prominent questions, such as why patients respond differently in the face of the same triggers. But we still have one additional level to review…

The Spirit – AKA The Informational Level

The often forgotten component of the 3 levels of the human being, the informational quantum state level is responsible for bodily responses acting upon external and internal informational interchanges which adversely affect functioning on a cellular to a systematic level, and contribute to the formation of pathological dysfunction seen in the top level of the biochemical as disease.

DNA science and genetics has proven features within DNA provide wave interchanges at this informational level that then interact with body’s genetic material and exhibit into physical reactions that sustain life. Without these basic instructions which we call information, our bodies would have no way of discerning how to perform the trillions of actions required to take place every minute in order to sustain life.
