Module 1: Redefining Health & Disease
We’ll start by exposing you to a plethora of information on a new medical paradigm that embraces one simple truth: health is our natural state, and given the right tools and guidance, is something that the human body is able to reclaim. This module will take a close look at what causes disease and dysfunction in the human body, and provide a scientific understanding of how the body works in a holistic manner.

Lesson 1 – Welcome to Empowered Healing: A brief introduction from your two presenters, and some helpful information about what Empowered Healing is, how to navigate the course, and an overview of the scientific and proven framework that it is based on.
Lesson 2 – Intro to Module 1: An overview of what to expect in Module 1, we pose questions such as “what is health” and “what is disease”, coming from a completely new perspective and paradigm.
Lesson 3 – Health as Our Natural State: Health occurs when systems are integrated, and communication flows freely. This natural order, or self-organization, is seen all around us in nature and in biological systems. We explore and explain this scientific phenomena and how it relates to humans.
Lesson 4 – Stagnation Causes Disease: When we are out of sync with nature and communication breaks down, chaos ensues and causes dysfunction within the body.
Lesson 5 – Body, Mind & Spirit: We’ll take you through the scientific understanding of these three key levels, showing you how the modern fields of biochemistry, psychoneuroimmunology, and informational quantum physics provide the basis for health and disease.
Lesson 6 – How People Heal (CPPI): Continuing on the concept of body, mind and spirit, we place the three onto a continuum, and show how all three levels need to be corrected simultaneously in order to break the vicious disease cycle.
Lesson 7 – Entering a New Paradigm: We compare the old medical paradigm, which is quite limited, to a new, personalized and nonlinear one, which has already been responsible for fantastic success in countless patients’ lives.
Lesson 8 – Personal Transmutation & Healing as a Journey: We apply the Hero’s Journey to a patient’s healing process, exploring the notion of perceiving an ailment as opportunity to transform into a higher state of being.
Lesson 9 – Activity 1: Out of Overwhelm: This activity prompts you to begin practicing reflection and introspection by asking a series of thought-provoking questions.
Lesson 10 – Activity 2: Into Power: Aimed at stirring the pot of ideas for yourself, we will explore the macrocosmic categories of life to help you create a field of possibilities for yourself.
Module 2: Your Destination
In this Module, we explain the importance of having a dream and how it will serve a functional purpose in your journey to health. We will also recap the Empowered Healing Blueprint and how to identify a purpose and goal during your healing process to serve as the catalyst to action. This is often singled out by physicians as the difference between patients that sustain health after treatment, and those that fall back into a diseased state.

Lesson 1 – Overview: What to expect in Module 2, which is aimed at unveiling your call to action, or your dream, a critically important piece as noted by both top physicians and patients.
Lesson 2 – The Physics of a Dream: Using a visual of a space-time simulator to explore the concept of a dream being your organizing principle, we discuss how determining this dream or goal will serve as your reason to get healthy throughout the next 12 weeks.
Lesson 3 – Activity 1: Determining Your Dream: By having you answer a series of questions, you will identify your dream, which is not meant to be your overarching life legacy or calling, but something attainable that you see yourself doing that puts you in an enthusiastic state.
Lesson 4 – Activity 2: Making it Tangible: To begin to bring your dream to life, you will go through the exercise of creating a totem, which will represent your dream as having already become a reality.
Lesson 5 – Activity 3: Becoming Your Dream: This activity will serve as your daily morning routine over the next 12 weeks, which includes a visualization exercise followed by a guided meditation.
Module 3: Your Roadmap
Module 3 is focused on building an action plan to achieve the dream that was defined in Module 2. We will link the macrocosmic categories of life to the microcosmic categories of life, connecting your daily actions to the bigger picture. We will also discuss how to apply your HLA (Holistic Lifestyle Assessment) results to create your own personalized health prescription.

Lesson 1 – Overview: Module 3 overview, which is focused on getting properly setup to make tangible changes.
Lesson 2 – Macro Vision to Micro Actions: An explanation of the 8 microcosmic categories of life, and how they each relate to the macrocosmic categories of life what you explored at the end of Module 1.
Lesson 3 – Applying Your HLA Results: The Holistic Lifestyle Assessment is a crucial component to this course, and we will help you assess your results and determine what the rest of your Empowered Healing journey will entail.
Lesson 4 – Activity 1: Creating Your MAP: With your dream in mind and top health priorities in order, you are now ready to start building your own unique daily practice toward converging and aligning your outer reality with your true internal nature.
Module 4: Your Journey
You will be introduced to the concept of transcendence vs. transformation being a key component to the healing process. We also explain the levels of consciousness as defined by Dr. David Hawkins, and the impact they have on health and the ability to achieve sustainable health. Additionally, we introduce the set-point effect and the importance of changing your set-point, or your ability to transcend the levels of consciousness.

Lesson 1 – Overview: Module 4 overview, which is all about equipping yourself with the skills to absorb the shock of challenges you may encounter, and correct course along the way.
Lesson 2 – The Set-Point Effect: Just as the body-comp set-point is regulated by two biochemical factors (leptin/ghrelin) which regulate hunger vs. satiety, our total “vitality” set-point may be regulated by two opposing emotional dials: Love vs. fear.
Lesson 3 – The Levels of Consciousness: This “map of consciousness”, as defined by the late Dr. David Hawkins, delineates a hierarchy of emotions and their impact on our physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
Lesson 4 – Vicious Cycles to Virtuous Circles: Negative thoughts, and the beliefs that underlie them, produce dramatic and measurable decreases in the neuromuscular system’s ability to recruit strength, and disrupt the autonomic nervous system’s ability to regulate a host of functions over the long range. An implementation of the Empowered Healing Blueprint is the first step in disrupting this vicious cycle.
Lesson 5 – Activity 1: Identifying the Roadblocks: This inner truth exercise is aimed at identifying the underlying beliefs behind some of the more prominent negative thoughts or fears that may have caused stress in the past, or are adding feelings of pressure in the present.
Lesson 6 – Activity 2: Debugging Bogus Beliefs: “The Letting Go Technique”: Aimed at breaking free from the negative belief patterns identified in the previous activity, this exercise will help you lose touch with those patterns permanently.
Lesson 7 – Activity 3: Changing the Set-Point: “The Choice Point Technique”: A technique you can use on the fly throughout the day any time you feel that an old belief may have been triggered and is now causing you to feel flustered, stressed, or self conscious.
Lesson 8 – The Upward Spiral: A pivotal moment in the Empowered Healing journey, we take a moment to congratulate you on progress made thus far, and provide tips as you forge ahead with the microcosmic categories of health.
Module 5: Movement
As part of the Empowered Healing exercise program, we demonstrate a variety of exercises people can do to help the body recover, which is equally as important. With an aim to cultivate energy, the Empowered Healing movement protocol was designed to replenish the body’s energy systems as opposed to exhausting or depleting them by getting in touch with the way our bodies are naturally meant to move. Expert video demonstrations will guide you through precise movements.

Lesson 1 – The Role of Movement in Health: Exploring the idea of exertion and recovery being equally as important for maintaining homeostasis.
Lesson 2 – Fundamental Principles of Movement: We discuss numerous key points, including finding a ying/yang balance and the importance of replenishing the body’s energy systems as opposed to exhausting or depleting them.
Lesson 3 – Empowered Healing Exercise Program: Aimed at bringing energy into the system with a focus on stability, mobility and functional strength.
Lesson 4 – Intro to Tai Chi and Qi Gong Movements: Holistic systems of coordinated body posture and movement, which will be demonstrated for you to be used as part of your weekly implementation schedule.
Lesson 5 – Stretching Techniques: Consisting of head rolls, shoulder rolls, and breathing squats, these techniques will be demonstrated for you to utilize in daily practice.
Lesson 6 – Balancing Toe Taps: Aimed at improving joint stability and strength, this is a simple exercise to implement.
Lesson 7 – Kneeling Hip Flexor Stretch: This movement is designed to release and loosen up your muscles that spend a lot of time in flexion.
Lesson 8 – Sun Salutations: Guided by an expert, this morning exercise is geared towards cultivating energy.
Lesson 9 – Feldenkrais: A type of physical therapy, this method is simply aimed at getting in touch with the way our bodies are meant to move.
Lesson 10 – Primal Movement: This exercise is a method of acquainting yourself with your body and its natural movements.
Module 6: Diet
While we don’t focus on any particular diet, a plant-based nutrition plan that is centered around quality foods is vital to cut through all the clutter and take you back to the basics of what actually works. The Empowered Healing diet is detoxifying, fortifying, regenerating, satiating and sustainable. We even provide a list of foods to eliminate, foods to avoid, and foods to eat, based on a specific diet for optimal recovery and healing designed by Dr. Thomas K. Szulc and the entire medical staff at the New York Center for Innovative Medicine. We also discuss strategies for shopping and how to prepare your pantry, the importance of practicing mindful eating, and quite simply – we demystify nutrition once and for all.

Lesson 2 – Fundamental Principles of Nutrition: From exploring why so many diets fail to thinking of food as medicine, vitality and as the building blocks of you, we demystify nutrition once and for all.
Lesson 3 – The Empowered Healing Diet: Based on a specific diet for optimal recovery and healing designed by Dr. Thomas K. Module 7: Quiet
We discuss recovery, or “quiet”, as a healer, and explain the importance of minding your own internal rhythms and needs for rest and regeneration. We also use the field of chronobiology to demonstrate the importance of upholding the law of polarity in biological systems, and introduce a number of actions you can take to help optimize this category of life, including sleep hygiene and pillow conditioning techniques, morning pre-charge rituals and evening recharge rituals, and how to break adrenaline cycles using the R.E.S.C.U.E. protocol (Recognize, Empathize, Stop, Correct, Uplift, Energize).

Lesson 1 – The Role of Quiet in Health: If we don’t replenish the energy that is lost through exertion, we are virtually guaranteed to burn out. Quiet is your restoration and assimilation period.
Lesson 2 – Fundamental Principles of Recovery: Exploring the importance of upholding the law of polarity in the field of chronobiology and respecting the body’s need to repair and rebuild its capacity to recover, we show you how vital it is to slow down, tune in and rest when you need to rest.
Lesson 3 – Optimizing Recovery: We provide actionable steps to improve restoration and recoverability through a protocol consisting of sleep hygiene, pillow conditioning, meditation, and the RESCUE method.
Module 8: Joy
In this module, we highlight the unwillingness many have to let go of the lower level emotions and feelings that damp out our inner joy (linking this to the important levels of consciousness that we explain in Module 4). In addition to explaining the biology of joy, we also explain the importance of cultivating curiosity and gratitude, describe the role nature plays in joy and how to install healthy habits by setting up a rewards system using the 4 classes of human experience (Experience Class Matrix). Furthermore, we provide clinically verified actions to let go of negative events to assist in strengthening your access and connection to that internal state of bliss which is always with you.

Lesson 1 – The Role of Joy in Health: Lack of fun is the number one reason why people fail to uphold regular healthy routines – fun and joy should be a central component of any healing or sustainable self-improvement endeavor.
Lesson 2 – Fundamental Principles of Joy: Aside from the important biochemical elements linked with enjoyment which have powerful immune boosting properties, we explore a variety of additional key points including cultivating curiosity and reconditioning the subconscious mind to wake up feeling enthusiastic about the day ahead.

Module 9: Environment
The environment module will highlight the fact that we are not isolated systems, and are constantly engaged in a continual and complex exchange of information with our surrounding environment. By taking full ownership of where you are, you open up a world of freedom by knowing that “I alone have the power and ability to create change in my life”. Some key elements of a healing environment include cleanliness, clutter-free, proper energy-flow from space to space, and ornamentation to enhance the space. Based on numerous key principles of feng shui, we provide some steps to action to allow you to declutter and create sacred spaces in your microcosmic environment.

Module 10: Abundance
The Abundance module will explain the neurophysiology of abundance as well as the impact fostering an abundance mindset vs. a scarcity mindset can have on your health. Just as any disease or dysfunction is a vicious cycle, our belief that the world is scarce causes us to act as if resources are scarce, and thus sets a scarcity feedback loop in motion. We will use the Story of Two Travelers to highlight the significance of abundance, explain that beliefs are malleable using the shifting worldview exercise, and revamp the Choice Point Technique to help you consciously interrupt the lower consciousness thoughts that bring about feelings of lack, which in turn will retrain your brain to transmit at a higher rate of vibration.

Module 11: Relationships
Just as no cell in the human body functions in isolation, we as individuals function as a part of a greater collective (family, community, society and planet). The health of any system, society, or cellular organism is dependent on open flow of unhindered communication. If we put up barricades between our inner selves and outer selves; ourselves and our work or role in something beyond us; and ourselves and others, then we disrupt the natural flow of energy and information that should be in a state of fluid exchange in order for health to persist and improve. If you’ve ever stopped yourself from expressing something to someone that was sincerely true to you, and you felt a physical sense of constriction (often in the chest, stomach or throat) then you’ve experienced first hand, the important role that the quality of relationships has on the quality and function of health.

Module 12: Connection
Cultivating a sense of connection with the world around you as well as the world within has as tremendous impact on our overall well being. It stimulates our cells and brings in new life and creative enthusiasm (aka “life-force”). In this often overlooked category of life, we explain the principle of oneness, the doctrine of signatures, the principle of resonance and the law of similars. From changing perspective, to practicing metta meditation, to putting the law of similars into practice, the Connection module is designed to improve your sense of connection with the world around you (and within).
