Lemons are loaded with vitamin C, citric acid, magnesium, bioflavonoids, pectin, calcium, and limonene. They are considered one of the most alkalizing foods you can eat and have antibacterial and antiviral properties. Lemons have long been linked to supporting digestion, the immune system, and liver cleanses. This simple addition to your morning ritual is not only cleansing but also energizing. 

As soon as you wake up in the morning, squeeze a half or whole lemon into an 8-ounce glass of warm or room temperature purified water.
