Chronic fatigue is a complex condition affecting over two million Americans. Filmmaker Frazer Bailey reflects on his experience with chronic fatigue and shares his top tips for battling this debilitating condition.
The Hidden Causes of Chronic Fatigue
As a “hidden illness,” chronic fatigue can stem from viral infections, immune impairment, hormonal imbalances, and physical or emotional trauma. With such a range of symptoms and root causes, treatment is never linear and always multifaceted.
In his interview on Your Health. Your Story., director of Root Cause and e-motion Frazer Bailey describes the techniques that helped him regain energy, clarity, focus, and ultimately, health.
The Lightning Process
Essentially a form of self-hypnosis, the Lightning Process entrains the brain to go from tired thoughts to energetic thoughts. Drawing from fields such as mindfulness, self-hypnosis, osteopathy, and NLP, the lightning process provides users with skills to make radical changes in their lives.
Primarily used for chronic pain and fatigue conditions, the Lightning Process can also be implemented to many other physical and emotional issues.
Total Body Modification (TMB)
Much like traditional Chinese Medicine, kinesiology, or acupuncture, Total Body Modification (TBM) addresses the same vibrational energy system but with a different tool. In its simplest form, TBM uses your vibrations, energies, and emotions to find the organ or area of your body that is under stress.
Once this is determined, it is possible to correct the problem by restoring balance to the nervous system. Ultimately, the goal of TBM is to return the body back to an energetic place of resilience so it can rest, digest, and reset.
Founded on the principle that the body has the ability to heal itself, homeopathy is at its core the idea that “like cures like.” Therefore, if a foreign substance is causing symptoms in a healthy person, a very small amount of this same substance will cure the illness. While controversial in nature, homeopathy is regularly used to treat allergies, chronic fatigue syndrome, atopic dermatitis, rheumatoid arthritis, and irritable bowel syndrome.
To summarize, when it comes to complex conditions, a holistic approach is best.
Practitioners must consider everything from diet, air, and water, to emotion, energies, meridians, and even spirituality. While it may seem too complicated to consider all of these facets, we are complicated beings who suffer whenever one or more of these aspects are out of alignment.
“I think it’s holistic when it comes to health. It’s diet, nutrition, it’s emotions, it’s good clean air and water, it’s getting all the things right and then getting all the energies right.”– Frazer Bailey
