Introduction to Phyto5 Chromalift Facial

The Chromalift facial combines light therapy, manual therapy, and topical plant-based skincare therapy to bring you anti-aging benefits. The Chromalift facial combines several proven techniques and devices. The PHYTO5 Biorhythmic Drainer provides gentle movements similar to a manual massage to enhance face and body treatments. The Chromapunctuer is a chromotherapy (or light therapy) machine used to create energetic frequencies that are in harmony with both Traditional Chinese Medicine and energetic centers – or chakras.

These two devices are used in tandem with Phyto5 skincare products which use the energetic properties of plants and natural essential oils to balance the five basic vital energies of the body. The Chromalift Phyto5 facial is given by a trained practitioner to create a quantum and holistic treatment when it comes to non-invasive facelift treatments.

Benefits of a Chromalift Facial

Benefits of a Chromalift facial include balancing your vital energy as a way to improve your skin’s appearance. By working with and correcting your body’s own vibrational energies, you can see results more quickly than traditional facial treatments.

A Chromalift facial involves facial reflexology which helps correct imbalances, drain impurities, and restore health to your skin from the inside out. Since the root cause of dysfunction is being addressed, a restored sense of well-being can also be seen with Phyto5 treatments.

A Phyto5 Chromalift facial stimulates energy as well as balances it and in turn, helps increase red blood cell circulation. This increase in circulation naturally lifts and tones skin, creating a non-invasive way to achieve the benefits of a facelift.

How the Chromalift Facial Works

Chromalift facials use Phyto5 clay masks to provide quantum healing. Quantum healing refers to tapping into the mind-body connection to promote healing from within. The energy provided and used by Phyto5 products is measured using the Bovis Scale, or Life Force Index. This scale measures life force energy, either positive or negative energy.

The clay masks used during a Chromalift facial have registered around 12,000 Bovis units which is very high and in alignment with providing vital energy. Essential oils are added to the clay to balance conditions that can cause symptoms to appear.

In addition to the clay masks, the Biorhythmic Drainer replaces the irregularities with manual massage by producing gentle rhythms to enhance anti-aging and contouring treatments. There are five speeds that can be used based on different energetic drainage needs.

Lastly, the Chromapuncter-10 brings light therapy to the Chromalift facial. By using dichroic filters, the highest potency of light can be delivered, bringing the most powerful results. The electromagnetic waves used by the Chromapuncter are in alignment with the five elements of TCM and the seven chakras to help restore vital energy.

Behind the Science

Science & Safety

Phototherapy using red and near-infrared light treatment in 136 individuals found significant improvement in skin complexion and skin feeling after 30 sessions. Skin roughness and ultrasonographically measured collagen density were also improved compared to controls. Treatments were considered safe and effective when it comes to skin rejuvenation and collagen increase.

Another study using LED phototherapy found improvement in the skin surface, photoaging scores, and improvement in periorbital wrinkles. This study involved 31 subjects and was felt to be effective and safe.

When looking at evidence for clay mask facials, one study of 194 participants found clay jojoba oil facial masks improved acne-prone skin after six weeks of treatment. Acne lesions caused by inflammation as well as non-inflammatory skin lesions were significantly reduced after treatment.

Clay masks have been found to increase collagen fibers of the skin in a 2012 study done with rats. Benefits were seen after only seven days of treatment with topical clay application combined with retinoic acid.

Introduction to Alma ClearLift Laser Treatment

When looking for aesthetic improvements, your results are only as good as your technology. The Alma ClearLift Laser is an award-winning applicator used with the proven Harmony XL Pro laser workstation.

The ClearLift laser uses Q-Switched technology to shatter skin imperfections caused by age, acne, the sun, and so much more. Tattoo removal and hair removal are among some of the additional benefits of the Alma ClearLife laser. The ClearLift laser with the Harmony XL Pro has nearly 70 FDA-cleared indications.

Benefits of Clearlift Laser Treatments

The benefits of Clearlift Laser treatments range from removing pesky skin tags to healing scar tissue. Here are just a few of the many Alma ClearLift benefits:

  • Mole and freckle removal
  • Spider vein removal
  • Smooth and even uneven skin tone caused by rosacea, keratoses, and café-au-lait spots
  • Improvement in current acne and removal of old acne scars
  • Hemangioma (red mole) removal
  • Scar tissue removal

The ClearLift Laser can remove non-cancerous tumors found on the skin, break up painful cysts, and restore hyperpigmentation.

Fine lines and wrinkles are smoothed with the ClearLift laser and blood flow is increased to help with muscle relaxation and pain relief. Tattoo and hair removal are among some of the additional Alma ClearlIft benefits.

How ClearLift works

ClearLift uses Q-Switched laser technology. Q-Switched stands for quality-switched which simply means the laser uses a pulsating laser beam rather than a continuous one. Q-Switched lasers are better able to break apart tissue as well as stimulate healing by gently aggravating the layers of skin or scar tissue.

The specific type of laser used in the ClearLift device is called Nd: YAG or YAG for short. YAG lasers focus and target changes in pigment found in the skin. YAG lasers are safe to use on all skin types and are popular lasers to use for tattoo removal.

Combining the YAG laser with Q-Switched technology, the Clearlift laser works by carefully breaking up (or ablating) uneven skin tone and pigment as well as stimulating healing with the pulsating laser beam.

A study of 2,064 Korean patients with melanocytic nevi (dark moles) were treated with a Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser over a six week period. After only one treatment, 70% of the moles were completely removed. The remaining 30% saw complete resolution after three sessions. There were also fewer patients who remained with a hollow scar from the removal which is often seen with other laser treatments making the Q-Switched Nd;YAG laser treatment a safe and effective treatment option for dark moles.

Hori’s Nevus are flat dark lesions typically found on the high cheekbone area. A 2001 study explores the use of Q-Switched Nd:YAG treatments to clear up this uneven skin tone. 66 participants were treated up to seven times with good results. After at least three treatments, 50% of patients had “good to excellent” results.

A small study of 11 participants showed benefits of Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser treatments when addressing fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes (crow’s feet). 9 out of 11 participants found improvement in fine lines around the eye. Treatments were felt to be safe with quick healing and minimal redness at treatment sites.

When looking for tattoo removal benefits of Q-Switched Nd:YAG lasers, a study of 25 participants found the laser to be extremely effective at removing black ink with up to 95% ink removal after only four treatments. However, colored inks were not as effectively removed. There were no side effects or pigment changes noted after treatment.

Introduction to Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is an ancient therapy that has been used for thousands of years. Cupping therapy has been mentioned in Greek documents as far back as 1500 BC, however most people tend to cite cupping therapy as originating from Chinese medicine.

Forms of cupping therapy have been used in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East as treatments for a variety of ailments.

Historically there have been ten types of cupping methods which categorize things like cupping intensity, cupping size, and the material in which the cup is made from. The type of cup used would vary based on the region of use, ranging from animal horns, glass jars, bamboo, and gourds. Modern cupping involves glass cups that have suction applied with a manual or electrical pump (versus traditional fire methods).

Cupping is used in traditional Chinese medicine practices and has been for over 2,000 years. In Chinese medicine a major benefit of cupping therapy is to help restore someone’s Qi, or vital energy, and find balance to their Yin and Yang. Traditional Chinese cupping is also used to purge toxins as well as negative energy.

Cupping therapy is a practice still commonly used in China and continuing to gain popularity in western cultures as a complementary treatment for pain and musculoskeletal disorders.

Benefits of cupping include pain relief, muscle relaxation, blood flow alignment, immunological effects, and removing toxins and waste from the treated area.

Benefits of Cupping Therapy

Cupping is used for a variety of ailments. Some of the more common treatments involve pain management for a number of issues including:

  • Musculoskeletal pain
  • Lumbago (low back pain)
  • Muscle tenderness and tension
  • Arthritis
  • Cupping therapy is also used to improve range of motion and align blood flow and has been described as the best way to obtain a deep tissue massage.

Cupping can help improve lymphatic system function and faciliates lymphatic drainage. Cupping therapy stimulates the thymus, a lymphoid organ key to the lymphatic system. This in turn increases the body’s ability to remove toxins quickly and efficiently.

Although more robust testing needs to be performed, when combined with other treatments, cupping has shown to be beneficial in treating:

  • Herpes zoster
  • Acne
  • Facial paralysis
  • Cervical spondylosis

How Cupping Therapy works

Cupping therapy is usually divided into two main categories of wet cupping and dry cupping. Wet cupping involves making an incision so blood/fluid/infection can be drawn out of the body and into the cup. Needle cupping is another form of wet cupping which involves the use of acupuncture needles while cupping the skin.

Dry cupping, the less invasive and more common modern practice, involves pulling the skin via suction into the cup without puncturing the skin.

The main goal of cupping is to stimulate the targeting tissue and increase blood flow to the treated area. Cupping is often done to stimulate lymphatic drainage using the same methods. This is done by applying suction to the cups with a flame, or by manual or electrical method. Once the suction has been applied, the cup remains on the skin for a few minutes, increasing the temperature and vascular flow of that area.

Cupping therapy can take place on several parts of the body with the most often areas treated being the:

  • Back
  • Chest
  • Abdomen
  • Buttocks

This is due to the high volume of musculature in these areas and potential for greatest benefit of pain relief. However, the cups can be applied to smaller, more delicate areas like the neck, chin, behind the ear, and ankles.

When cupping therapy is done for lymphatic drainage, the cups may be applied to areas felt to be stagnant in an effort to stimulate and restore healthy lymphatic drainage. Cupping therapy is thought to manually lift and separate deep layers of tissue, allowing for increased lymphatic drainage. This increased lymphatic circulation promotes efficient waste and toxin removal.

Cups are usually left in place for about 5-10 minutes depending on the desired stimulus. There are usually skin changes which occur due to the suction which can look like circular purple and red bruises. These usually resolve within several days.

There have been several studies on cupping therapy, however the exact mechanism of action is still somewhat a mystery. A 2018 review looked at cupping benefits and the accompanying theories. These theories have been explored to explain the mechanism of action of cupping therapy (basically explaining why cupping therapy achieves the benefits). The four global benefits include pain reduction, muscle relaxation, immunological and hormonal balance, and toxin removal. Below are the theories explored with cupping:

  • Pain reduction and changes in skin biomechanical properties: Pain-Gate Theory, Diffuse Noxious Inhibitory Controls, and Reflex Zone theory
  • Muscle relaxation, changes in local tissue structure, and increased blood circulation: Nitric Oxide Theory
  • Immunological and hormonal effects: Activation of the Immune System Theory
  • Toxin and waste release and removal: Blood Detoxification Theory

This same review, after analyzing 64 studies on cupping therapy, noted not only does cupping therapy provide pain relief by improving blood flow to the area, but it can increase production of pain relieving chemicals in the brain. This is thanks to the comfort and relaxation cupping therapy induces on a systemic level.

Behind the Science

Science & Safety

Although the study was fairly small with only 50 participants, cupping was found to remove toxins from the skin and superficial tissues in a 2012 study with chronic neck pain patients. The study found when blood vessels become dilated in the cupped region and an increase in circulation occurs, trapped toxins in the tissue are released and the patients feel relief.

A 2016 study highlighted how cupping therapy increased skin surface temperature therefore increasing vasodilation, blood circulation and metabolism. The goal being increasing skin temperatures increased the rate of waste and toxin eliminating and reducing pain. Researchers found systolic blood pressure and pain scores to significantly decrease when patients received cupping therapy for neck pain when compared to patients simply resting.

A 2018 meta-analysis of 18 studies reviewed the effects of cuppy therapy when treating chronic neck pain. The review showed there was an overall improvement in pain as well as quality of life. However, the review notes most studies were of low quality and additional research is needed to validate the benefits of cupping.

A 2015 review of cupping therapy notes there can be skin changes including:

Erythema (redness)
Edema (swelling)
Ecchymosis (bruising)

These changes are usually in the circular shape of the cup itself and subside within a few weeks.

The Cleveland Clinic notes additional risks beyond bruising and swelling which include burns from heated cups, headaches, fatigue, muscle soreness, and nausea. They mention people with bleeding disorders or a history of blood clots should not be treated with cupping therapy. Additionally if someone has skin disorders like psoriasis or eczema, they may not be eligible for cupping.

Wet cupping (where an incision is made, often with an acupuncture needle) involves breaking the protective layer of your skin – meaning there is always a risk for infection to occur. According to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, other risks of wet cupping include scarring, anemia from blood loss, and a risk for bloodborne pathogens of the cupping tools are not properly cleaned.

Introduction to EMDR Therapy

EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) is an emotional therapy that is recognized as an effective form of trauma treatment in numerous practice guidelines worldwide. EMDR is clinically proven (more than twenty randomized studies support the effectiveness of the therapy in the treatment of PTSD) to accelerate the treatment of a wide range of problems and self-esteem issues related both to disturbing past traumatic events and present life conditions.

As of today, 31.3 million Americans are struggling with PTSD and there are promising results coming from EMDR as an effective therapy. It helps patients clear negative emotions linked to traumatic experiences or disturbing memories. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a comprehensive, integrative psychotherapy approach. It contains elements of many effective psychotherapies in structured protocols that are designed to maximize treatment effects. These include psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, experiential, and body-centered therapies.

EMDR is a psychotherapy technique that helps patients who suffer from trauma, anxiety, panic, disturbing memories, post-traumatic stress, and many other emotional problems.

Benefits of EMDR Therapy

Clinical experience has shown that EMDR may be used for a number of conditions and issues and that the benefits include:

  • Activates both sides of the brain in order to help them integrate, and reprocess any disturbing events or memories, similar to how REM sleep works
  • Frees from destructive thinking, limiting beliefs, disturbing memories, and it seems to work in cases where years of conventional talk therapy has made no progress
  • Works quicker than conventional talk therapy ( According to the EMDR Institute website, research has shown that between 84% and 100% of PTSD victims who had experienced a single trauma recovered fully after 3 to 6 sessions)
  • Helps restore a positive future outlook and enhance the ability to feel pleasure and make emotional connections in individuals with PTSD
  • Can be used in the treatment of a variety of other psychiatric disorders, physical health issues, and other common emotional problems and life challenges

How EMDR Works

The user inhales the air via a comfortable cannula for about 20-30 minutes. The effect may be compared to inhaling a potentiated concentration of fresh mountain or sea air. As a result, it becomes easier for cells to utilize oxygen in the body. Patients will normally experience positive effects pretty quickly because improved oxygen utilization promotes (mitochondrial) cell activity and communication, regulates metabolism and releases new vital energy.

EMDR psychotherapy is an information processing therapy and uses an eight-phase approach to address the experiential contributors of a wide range of pathologies. The therapy offers a reprocessing of disturbing life experiences-resulting in a significant reduction or elimination of symptoms such as emotional distress, intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, and nightmares. EMDR attends to the past experiences that have set the groundwork for pathology, the current situations that trigger dysfunctional emotions, beliefs and sensations, and the positive experience needed to enhance future adaptive behaviors and mental health.

The model used to explain the cornerstone of the EMDR approach is AIP – Adaptive Information Processing. The information processing system registers experiences/emotions and stores them within memory networks. This information processing system, like all other body systems, is intrinsically geared toward homeostasis/health.

However, when not processed adaptively at the time of the event, disturbing memories/emotions are dysfunctionally stored in memory networks and consequently cause current perceptions to be interpreted in a dysfunctional way; they block experiences from being adaptively processed. Reprocessing traumatic events with the assistance of EMDR allows “overriding” the blocks and dysfunctionally stored memories and replaces/transmutes them into an adaptive resolution.

EMDR therapy shows that the mind can, in fact, heal from psychological trauma much as the body recovers from physical trauma. When you cut your hand, your body works to heal the wound. If there is something that irritates the wound, it causes pain. Once the object is removed, healing resumes. Similarly, EMDR therapy works on mental processes.

During treatment, various procedures and protocols are used to address the entire clinical picture. One of the procedural elements is “dual stimulation” using either bilateral eye movements, tones or taps. During the reprocessing phases, the client attends momentarily to past memories, present triggers, or anticipated future experiences while simultaneously focusing on a set of external stimuli. During that time, clients generally experience the emergence of insight, changes in memories, or new associations. The practitioner assists the client to focus on appropriate material before initiation of each subsequent set.

Behind the Science

Science & Safety

According to a study published by Francine Shapiro, PhD, life experiences may cause a wide range of psychological symptoms and EMDR is a suitable therapy for addressing any traumatic or negative events. In fact, twenty-four randomized studies supported this statement. Some of the studies reported that EMDR therapy may be more effective than other trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapies. Other studies noted rapid decreases in negative emotions and/or intensity of disturbing images.

In another study conducted by Francine Shapiro, PhD, 22 patients suffered from symptoms related to traumatic experiences, including the Vietnam War, childhood sexual molestation and emotional abuse. Patients involved in the research experienced intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, sleep disorders, and relationship problems. The results indicated that after a single session of eye movement desensitization procedure, the patient’s devastating recollections were reduced and their approach to the event was changed.

In a review of recent developments in the field of emotion regulation connecting trauma-oriented therapy issues with the practical implementation of psychotherapeutic procedures, it was found that: “EMDR is a well-defined and protocol-based intervention, with strong empirical support for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)”.

There is preliminary evidence that pain-focused EMDR might be useful for nsCBP (non-specific chronic back pain) patients with previous experiences of psychological trauma, with benefits for pain intensity maintained over 6 months.

Introduction to Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a psycho-emotional therapy and a form of psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments, but without the invasiveness of needles. Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to stimulate specific meridians on the head, chest and arms, while mentally picturing a specific problem or situation – whether a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc. – and voicing positive affirmations. EFT is based on the theory of electromagnetic energy, which flows all through our body and plays a crucial role in taking control of our health.

Emotional Freedom Technique operates on the premise that no matter what part of your life needs improvement, there may be unresolved emotional issues standing in the way. The medical profession has long known that emotional issues can dramatically affect our body chemistry and that, in turn, can lead to everything from headaches and acute illness to addictions, impaired immune systems and even more chronic diseases such as cancer.

This combination of tapping the energy meridians and voicing positive affirmation works to clear emotional blocks that contribute to poor cellular functioning and disruption of energy pathways. It is a fast-evolving treatment within the field of Energy Psychology and it’s catching the attention of healers, scientists, spiritualists, and many others. It is based on various theories of alternative medicine including acupuncture, neuro-linguistic programming, energy medicine, and Thought Field Therapy (TFT). EFT combines the physical benefits of acupuncture with the cognitive benefits of conventional therapy for a much faster, more complete treatment of emotional issues, and the physical and performance issues that often result. It has received some notoriety through Gary Craig’s EFT Handbook, published in the late 1990s.

Even for physical issues and chronic pain or illness, it is common for emotional stress to impede the natural healing potential of the human body. EFT can be an ongoing process used to clear out old traumas and welcome any new challenges with a healthy, positive attitude. As guilt, anger, fear, trauma and the like become resolved, physical ailments often subside simultaneously.

EFT can help with a variety of emotional and physical issues such as weight-loss, anger and anxiety, phobias, and beyond.

Benefits of EFT

Clinical experience has shown that EFT may be used for a number of conditions and issues and that the benefits include:

  • Rebalances the body’s energy system by tapping on specific meridians
  • Clears out emotional ‘debris’ which ultimately eliminates ailments such as headaches, back pains, and other discomforts
  • Eliminates negative thought patterns and replaces them with positive ones
  • Helps to welcome new challenges with a positive attitude
  • Can be self-applied, and can be practiced anytime and anywhere (no equipment needed)

How EFT Works

The user inhales the air via a comfortable cannula for about 20-30 minutes. The effect may be compared to inhaling a potentiated concentration of fresh mountain or sea air. As a result, it becomes easier for cells to utilize oxygen in the body. Patients will normally experience positive effects pretty quickly because improved oxygen utilization promotes (mitochondrial) cell activity and communication, regulates metabolism and releases new vital energy.

EFT operates on the premise that although a patient may be exhibiting physical symptoms, often they are linked to a deeper dysfunction of unresolved emotional issues. A practitioner must address all dysfunctions of the patient, whether biochemical, physical, psycho-emotional, or spiritual, to restore health. EFT is a therapy that may be used to address issues on the psycho-emotional level.

Understanding the importance of energy as quantum physics has shown us over the past century, it should be noted that we too as humans are complex energetic beings. A negative thought or deep-seated emotion may disrupt the body’s energy systems. Through EFT, tapping with the tips of fingers on acupuncture points on the face clears these energetic disruptions. In this way, the energy traveling through these channels is balances and flows freely throughout the body, and physical symptoms may dissipate. This connection of body and mind is now better scientifically understood through fields of science such as psycho-neuro-endocrine-immunology.

In other words, EFT is a process where we mentally “tune in” to specific emotional issues while stimulating certain meridian points on the body by tapping on them with our fingertips. It appears to balance disturbances in the meridian system. Once you implement EFT in your daily routine, your perspective on any upsetting past experiences begins to change into something challenging yet pleasurable. As you tap, the words come out easily and there is a progressive release of the negative feelings that you may have kept in your body for some time. This method works very simplistically, yet effectively. It can help clear past traumatic experiences and restore the energy balance between your body, mind, and spirit.

EFT is the most widely practiced form of group therapies known as Energy Psychology. A trial conducted by Lucyna Health and Safety Solutions, LLC, shows that EFT is highly effective in reducing depressive symptoms in a variety of populations and settings.

The World Health Organization places major depressive disorder (MDD), or depression, as the fourth leading cause of disability worldwide. According to a study, EFT helps to reduce depressive symptoms and might be an effective treatment strategy worthy of further investigation.

In a recent study, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) was compared to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for food cravings in adults who were overweight. The study supports the suggestion that CBT and EFT could serve as vital adjunct tools in a multidisciplinary approach to managing obesity.

2016 Clinical Study: results indicated that EFT is effective in decreasing stress and anxiety levels in student nurses during their education process.

Spectrum

Where does EFT fall on the medical spectrum?

EFT falls under the ‘Psychology’ section of the medical spectrum.

Alternative Medicine

Also known as holistic medicine, it is the study and application of nature, botany, energy, and technology to bring the body back to balance and address the root causes of disease without detrimental side effects, toxins and chemicals, or a lifetime of intervention.

Biological Medicine

Also known as European Biological Medicine, this modality, popular in Germany and Switzerland, applies numerous therapies that aim to restore the body’s regulatory and self-healing capacity by promoting proper regeneration on a cellular and organ level.

Conventional Medicine

Conventional medicine is the most recognized and practiced section of the medical spectrum that includes pharmacological drugs, surgical procedures, lab testing, and more in an attempt to reduce symptoms and manage disease.

Conventional Therapies

The Innovative Medicine approach considers all conventional options and appropriately prescribes or refers patients to specialists in which this approach would be most suited.

Emotional Therapies

Mental health and the study of mind-body medicine is an integral part of the medical spectrum that can often go overlooked and unaddressed.

Psycho-Emotional Intervention

The study of psycho-neuro-immunology (PNI) has shown how our thoughts and psychological state impact our biochemistry and can lead to disease. Any comprehensive treatment plan must address psychological stress to be successful.

Spiritual Practices & Therapies

We often confuse spiritual practices with religion, but the role of spirituality, consciousness, awareness, purpose, and information on a quantum level is incredibly important in healing.

Receiving Therapy

Receiving EFT

We are pleased to have EFT trained practitioners and a psychologist at our clinic, the New York Center for Innovative Medicine (NYCIM). However, the use of this or any of our numerous therapeutic options is only performed on patients after an in-depth health evaluation. Our ultimate goal is the complete restoration of health in the most efficient and safe manner, and with so many therapeutic options, it is impossible to know if EFT is right for you without an initial evaluation at our clinic.

Frequently Asked Questions

EFT can take anywhere from 1-10 minutes or longer per session, depending on the situation and person. EFT may be used daily or whenever you are worried, under stress, or feeling in a depressed mood.

Introduction to NanoVi

NanoVi is a non-invasive technology that creates a bio-identical signature to counteract the negative effect of free radicals, or negative reactive oxygen species (ROS). It produces the exact same signal a healthy body does naturally to initiate free radical damage repair.

As a more sophisticated form of oxygen therapy, NanoVi is the first and only device to emit a verifiable ROS-specific signal without the creation or use of harmful ROS.

Benefits NanoVi

Benefits of NanoVi treatments include improvements in circulation, wound healing, and overall repair and regeneration of healthy tissue functioning. NanoVi sessions increase vitality and can be a great therapy to use alongside other regenerative treatments.
Thanks to the cellular damage repair and improvement in how well your body heals itself from stress, NanoVi is great to fight against the effects of aging and maintain function and health.

For those looking to recover faster from sports and recreation like hiking, biking, or other endurance activities, NanoVi can improve recovery and repair by addressing free radical damage.

NanoVi sessions:

  • Improve your body’s response to free radical damage
  • Balance your immune function
  • Improve energy production and detoxification

How NanoVi Works

Oxygen is essential to the chemical process of cell energy production, but this process also produces reactive oxygen species (ROS). For the most part, ROS can cause damage as free radicals, but they also function as signaling molecules or ‘secondary messengers’.

Over the last 15 years, scientists have confirmed these secondary messengers are essential in triggering certain types of cellular repair. A single DNA, for example, is damaged more than 700,000 times per day and needs to be repaired as fast as possible. If it is unable to keep up with the damage repair, DNA and cellular changes can occur, often leading to disease and dysfunction.

NanoVi bio-identical signaling technology relies on a ROS-specific signal to influence cellular repair mechanisms and consequently protect and improve cellular activity. Helping initiate the body’s natural repair mechanisms improves cellular activity and the spectrum of free radical-damaged cellular functions is addressed.

To create a signal that is bio-identical to what our bodies make, NanoVi creates a specific electromagnetic wave in the near-infrared portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that has the same wavelength as ‘good’ (excited) ROS produced in our cells.

During NanoVi treatments, patients simply breathe in the NanoVi device’s humidified air stream. The humidity transfers the signal to the body and, like many diagnostic or therapeutic signals, these signals immediately cascade throughout the entire body.

Behind the Science

Science & Safety

A study on the impact of NanoVi® on damaged proteins was recently published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences. This scientific journal is peer-reviewed and highly ranked for being impactful in the scientific community.

The purpose of the study was to investigate the ability of NanoVi to affect the activity of proteins when they were exposed to damaging factors including heat, oxidation, and chemical denaturants.

Although complementary, bio-identical signaling therapy is distinct from hyperbaric oxygen therapy. HBOT provides more oxygen to the system while bio-identical signaling enables the system to utilize the oxygen better.

Bio-identical signaling therapy is often a stand-alone therapy. However, when used in conjunction with HBOT, it can improve the results. HBOT centers report substantially improved outcomes when clients have a NanoVi™ session after hyperberic oxygen therapy.
